About Us
Naomi Low-Beer and Bridget Boylan, the Directors of MedEd Solutions, have collective experience spanning clinical practice, medical education and research, digital systems, and project management.
In collaboration with an international panel of experts from a range of academic and professional services backgrounds, Naomi and Bridget provide support and advice to organisations responsible for the set-up and management of medical schools and medical education programmes, in the UK and internationally.
Professor Naomi Low-Beer
MBBS MRCOG MD MEd SFHEA
Naomi Low-Beer is a clinical academic and medical education leader with extensive experience establishing and developing new medical schools and medical education programmes in the UK and internationally.
As Founding Dean of Brunel Medical School and previously Vice-Dean for Education at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in Singapore, she has led medical education from curriculum design and institutional planning through to programme launch, regulatory approval and ongoing management.
Naomi is currently a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London. Her educational leadership is characterised by evidence-informed innovation, inclusive, student-centred learning and a commitment to educational quality. As Co-Founder and Director of MedEd Solutions, she provides strategic educational leadership and practical expertise to organisations developing distinctive, sustainable medical education programmes, tailored to their institutional contexts and regulatory requirements.
Bridget Boylan
BSc (Hons) MAPM FCMI
Bridget is an experienced strategic leader with over 25 years’ experience spanning commercial organisations and UK higher education. She has led complex transformation, business change and information systems programmes for organisations including UCL, Imperial College London, University of London, University of Westminster and Brunel University London.
As Director of Strategic Projects and Change at Brunel, she led the design and establishment of Brunel Medical School, translating strategic ambition into a new academic and operational capability. As Director of Operations, she led its transition into delivery, overseeing finance, regulation, workforce, programme development, recruitment, estates, digital systems and governance.
Since co-founding MedEd Solutions in 2025, Bridget has advised senior university leadership on strategic projects including international branch campus development. Additionally, she supports organisations developing new medical schools and medical education programmes, working across the strategic, operational and educational dimensions of medical school development.
